Can a Guy and girl best friend cuddle?

i have this best friend whos a girl and we have got so close over the past few months , we talk everyday , i love her to bits ( as friends ) and wouldn't give her up for anything , i could trust her with my life. today we were in my friends house and i was falling asleep on her shoulder while siting beside her watching a movie and then a while later we had the whole couch to ourselfs and somehow we started cuddleing lying down and i really liked it but it only lasted 5 minutes because my friend said something to her about leading me on so she got up and sat on the other couch , is it ok for us to be cuddleing? i will admit i have feelings for her but could never go out with her because it would wreck our friendship but i just like how close we are , is this ok? , thanks so much guys :)

I don't think so. I mean, realistically, you can do whatever you want. However, in my honest opinion, that would defeat the purpose of being just friends. I have no desire to "cuddle" anyone I'm not dating but perhaps you have a different view of cuddling than I do.

Some friendships are like that but if you have feelings and she doesn't then lay low cause you might ruin it. Another possibility is that she likes you but doesn't want other people to know so that's why she got up

I'm sorry but I disagree completely. I would not tolerate my bf cuddling with another woman that is reserved for me only as his gf. I am not naive enough to believe that it is truly platonic on both ends. If they are both single and are OK with it its fine I guess but if my bf did that he would be single because I would consider it cheating.
