Why do women treat men so badly?

It's not just in relationships, but in society as a whole women treat men like pretty badly. To name a few ways:

- Men are demonized by women

- Men have to pay for the dates, open doors and hold bags even though the woman is not poor or physically disabled

- 40% of reported domestic violence is female on male, but estimates say that 70% of all domestic violence is done by women and men are CONDEMNED for reporting it.

- Women repeatedly shame and guilt trip men.

- Even if the man is right in an argument, he loses because the woman becomes nihilist and emotionally manipulative because she has to win no matter what. He's not allowed to.

- Women ridicule and reject awkward guys who can't hold a conversation no matter how nice they are.

- Men have to sleep on the couch even though the house is his. The dog house is where every man has been.

- Women often say men are dogs, creeps, losers, pervs, weirdos etc even when they have no reason to. They are almost tyrannical in relationships.

There is a successful man who is a boss and people are especially 'nice' to him because they want something from him.

An attractive woman is no different. Men want something from her, primarily her love or her sex.

These two subjects are so used to receiving positive attention, compliments, and brown nosing that I think that their bullshit meter is highly calibrated and on point that they can tell insincerity from a mile away.

People pleasers will praise you and boost your ego, but loved ones will straight tell you the truth even if it hurts. This is why The Lord disciplines those that he loves.

Be authentic and they will appreciate that.

Seek to please the Lord rather than people pleasing either your boss or a woman, because those who please people cannot be a servant of Christ.

Note: You talk about how women treat men badly, but from your conversation with @chick180, you treated her extremely poorly and she deserves an apology.

Just letting you know buddy, guys rape women, many also lie and pretend to have feelings for them just so they can get sex. Many also sexually harass women in both the workforce, public, and online. And that's just naming a few things.

If you're going to try and tell the truth, don't just tell one side of it. Tell the whole thing.

Boo hoo! Look, I'm a pretty nice gal. I'm not abusive, I don't manipulate, I pay for my own meals and I don't ridicule anyone because I know exactly what it feels like to be the awkward soul in a conversation.

With my boyfriend, I'm a pretty awesome girlfriend. I compromise a lot and do a lot of things to please him. I know for a fact that he compromised way less than I do.

Not all women are terrible to men. There's no need to generalize us. SOME men have done some pretty bad things to women too so don't act like your gender is so innocent. They're not. Both genders have their faults.

Look I'm no expert but there's a point to be made here. A woman's greatest strength is the facade of her weakness while a mans greatest weakness is the facade of his strength. Because women postulate themselves as victims, they are able to marginalize the way they treat men. Even though a woman has never spent any length of time walking in the shoes of a man. In this long list of comments some people have demonstrated the suck it up mentality that is projected toward men but where does that stop and would it be ok to do to women? "oh no men have been raped suck it up!"..."oh no women have been raped suck it up!" Do you see how ridiculous that mentality is? Nobody doubts how poorly women are treated but society doesn't really see men as people. If we were on a boat and it was sinking, who do you evacuate first? The women and the children right? while the men are left behind to drown. When we go to war, who do we send into the line of fire? women and children? no, its the men. A mans life is literally disposable to society and people brush it off as if it's no big deal. marginalize his rights no big deal. Blame him for everything, no big deal right? I wonder how women would feel if they were so disposable. Society tells us that men must be a necessity their whole lives or be tossed aside. He must be a good husband or she'll leave him for another and collect child support and alimony. He must be a good provider or he'll be replaced. He must be willing to sacrifice life and limb or he's useless. I wonder if women ever feel so discarded from the day they're born. He must be a good soldier or he'll die. He must be a good student or he'll fail. But in the end these things aren't really told to women because you have something men don't. Sympathy. People feel bad for you. When those girls in Sudan were kidnapped from school, the media only reported that side of the story. They neglected to mention how hundreds of boys were butchered and burned alive. Because the very attitude in this segment proves my point. You don't even see men as human beings. Nobody is entitled to anything, but nobody deserves to be treated the way men are treated. At least society values the lives of women. Men are disposable. The difference is victim status. It's the same reason why women receive over 60% less jail and prison time then men do for the same crimes.

Im 15 in highschool. I dont do drugs, dont drink, dont talk to lots of girls, im not mean, i dont use anyone unlike the rest of my year and age group but i recently had my entire perspective changed on women. during October of 2022, i started speaking to this girl that my friend introduced tio me at school. All goes well and we end up in a relationship. Bare in mind she is my first girlfrined and im one of her past 6 or 7. after about a month in the realtionship, i started to identify that i was putting in 95% effort in while i was getting 5% from her in the relationship as a whole. im getting treated like a friend more than a boyfriend. Everytime i attempt to communcate and help her change to make the relationship work she never changed and continued in her ways. So I decide over Christmas break to stop texting her and chasing her if she wasn't going to give any back. She was so petty to not confront me about it and ask me why i am doing it and we end up not speaking for 2 weeks straight. The Wednesday we come back to school i see her but neither of us speak to each other. Later that evening, she calls me on snap and says "I don't know if u realised but our relationship has gotten awkward and boring so I think its best if we break up." I agree and tell my side of the story and how I feel. Not even a week later she texts me and says she misses me. This mindfucks me and confuses me. She keeps playing with me like im some toy that she can use when she's bored. For about a month nothing happens, we dont speak and we walk by at school. One day i ask for a homework and somehow sparked a conversation about us where she goes on to apologise to me aout everything she ever did to me. At this point i didn't beleive it and was too numb in the brain to feel anything. She told me that with all teh guys she's been with, she was never like that and it was just me that was different. I did everything for this girl, I was kind, caring, affectionate, loving. She kept on going on about how she never meant it and it was never her intention to do me like that. I mean why me. I stayed up at nights crying and drowning in my own tears about and i always find a way to blame myself. Why was i the one that had to be different. Im only 15 and i already just want to end it all because i have no feelings and care for myself. Women do treat men terribly and there is only a handful of women that want to treat a man right. Men only want to be loved and cared for by a women apart from their mother. It never gets better for a guy.

If women mistreat you is your own fault, don't let them and stop whining. You can't blame this in anyone but yourself for letting people step over you, because if a woman can do it a man can too.
We're humans and we all manipulate each other to get what we want, so don't blame this on them.

You're just trying to justify your pathetic attitude blaming it on women. Stop crying and stand up to yourself, if a woman tells you to sleep on the couch, don't. If a woman tells you to pay for the date, don't. If a woman tries to shame you, don't let her. You're weak, and therefore you attract manipulative people, in this case women, since they see you as an "easy target". So change your attitude and you'll see a how wonderful women are.

You've made valid points. This type of perspective, however, it seems, typically is that of insecure men, who, after being submissive in relationships over and over again, refuse to acknowledge their roles in enabling women to mistreat them.

Instead, such men blame women solely, for their failure to stand up for themselves, and for taking advantage of their insecurity, disguised as love, which leads the men to take and put up with nonsense from such women to merely be in a relationship with them.

i think its safe to say that both genders have negative aspects. In some areas i think men have it worse, but in others i think women have it worse. But you really need to get over all of that and start working to better yourself as an individual. Women aren't that evil... but they throw out a lot of shit tests to test a man's character.

OP I am surprised I haven't adopted your way of thinking. After having been hit, slapped, punched, kicked, and scratched by a woman in my previous relationship I should hate women and should think the way you are thinking but I don't for some reason. There are good and bad people in this world. Some of them are men and some of them are women. Sadly I am part of the 40% in your statistics of domestic violence that went unreported. I still blame myself for it sometimes.
