Why are some girls so non romantic?

I have a girl about 1 month and it's really so non romantic she even said that. She don't tell me love you or anything like that... But she loves me and I don't understand why? Can I change this?

When she send me a text she writes this :* (means kiss) but that's almost all.

She also said that... she had a boyfriend and he talked all "sweet things"... I don't know what she meant with that.

It is usually a personality thing, and also can have to do with the way a person is raised. For example, I once went out with this guy who was really weary about kissing me or holding my hand or just being affectionate in general because he never experience affection or even witnessing his parents being affectionate with each other in his household, so it really all depends.

Maybe she has been hurt in the passed or an x has made a fool of her by cheating and lies and maybe finds it hard to say how she feels. I would say she is trying to protect herself.

Yeah, I don't understand this... I really like her, she likes me. I said say something (at the end of conversation) more beautiful, but she didn't want to, she said no... and I said nah it's okay hehe and talked about else...

I have to say I was like that in past relationships because I would be with guys who were not romantic and say of the lovey dovey things so I got used to that. But then I met another guy that I dated for a while and he was very loving and caring and he change me now I'm more romantic and loving when in a relationship. SO it just depends how she was raised and also how she was treated in past relationships.

Give it some time, she'll come around. I'm not romantic either I'd rather cut the crap and keep it real. Such as I don't like people saying stuff unless they mean it.

Some were raised like that. I'm not romantic either. But i grew up around dudes so I'm kinda tomboy. I can be romantic if i want to i guess but.
