I was talking to this girl that I like one time with my friend and she randomly said "I like your beird it makes you look like jack sparrow." so I laughed at her because she probably doesn't know that I know that one of her celebrity crushes is Johnny Depp and I thought that maybe it means she likes me

Complimenting is good, could mean that she likes you. Depends on her personality, really. I probably wouldn't say that to a guy that I like, but I am not super confident around guys I am interested in. If she is confident it probably means that she likes you.
