Girls, sending an ex flowers vs a text, should I do this, how may she feel?

I dated a great woman, who I had a lot in common with, strong connection, never fought, etc. However, she broke things off with me because she had a lot to figure out, and said it just wasn't the right time for her. During the break up she kept thanking me for the way I treated her and made her feel. I told her I was always here for her and would leave her alone and give her space. I've haven't contacted her since for respect to her space. I have planned on sending her a text in a few weeks just telling her I miss her and hope she is doing well. However in a few weeks is Mother's Day. I would really like to send her flowers but if I do that I probably would forget about sending the text. I would send the flowers anonymously but she will probably know they are from me since I've sent her flowers before. Is this a good idea? How do you think she may react? I want to add that I don't count on a response from her or getting back together over sending flowers or a text, it's just my way of letting her know that I care and that I'm here. Thoughts?
