Will this be romantic/sweet if I send this to her? Should I send her this letter?

Long story short, have an internet friend whom I met first time recently. Her and I talked for a few years, live long distance (other countries, though her family comes from the same area my family comes from).

Anyway, she has social anxiety, self critical etc, but we got along very well. I do like her too and would like to get to know her better.

I was thinking of sending her a letter and telling her it's a letter full of positive energy, that way whenever she has a bad day/rough time she can always read it since it's full of positive energy.

The last day we met I was suppose to throw a coin into a fountain and make a wish but we got side tracked and forgot to do that. So I was going to tape that coin on the letter and say it's the energy, or the "wish" I never got to make, so I am sending her the energy.

Anyway, should I? Or will it be inappropriate?

I don't get the vote results here. For someone with social anxiety having that to read at her pace is going to way outstrip the benefit of you saying that once at what may or may not be the height of her anxiety. The coin is a nice touch.

Thanks ! I am looking at the letter as something friendly. I will probably go ahead with my idea. The only concern was if she is socially awkward/socially anxious, I don't know if it would be a good idea. But her and I have become good friends and gotten more or less close. When we met it was an awkward initial meeting, but the times we met afterwards she did warm up to me more. Appreciate it!

I have been texting her, but I just wanted to do something "special/nicer" . Her and I live far away from each other, but I did get the opportunity to meet her in real life. Back at home now though.

Halfway around the world 😅 I met her online, but her family comes about 30 minutes from where she lives. I met her in person while visiting family.

My family comes 30 minutes from where mine come from* I was born and have family/travel back from time to time. :)
