When a woman says she has no female friends?

Question

When a woman tells you she has no female friends, to me that's a red light.  Every woman that's ever told said that to me has always been the person that starts the drama, gossiping, bullying etc. she usually says that she can relate better with men, which suggests that despite having a horrible personality she's still attractive.  No?

I think it depends.

I definitely have more male friends, because I enjoy more outdoorsy activities and am not that interested in typical "girly" things. But I also have a few female friends. It's hard to find other female friends my age with no kids, and it's also hard to find female friends who aren't obsessed with The Kardashians. I definitely like makeup and shopping, but not to the point where I have to get dressed up to the nines to run to the supermarket. It's really hard to find other females these days that I can connect with... especially on the east coast where fashion is such a huge priority for many women. Sometimes I just like to wear my sweats. Sue me!

On the other hand, I know some girls just say that because they are intimidated around other women. THEY want to be the most important girl in the room; they don't want to have to compete with other women for attention.

I think more often than not, when a woman says she has NO female friends, it's probably a red flag... but definitely look at it on a case by case basis.

I think a woman who has no female friends, has communication and understanding problems with her own gender.
As a woman I find women dramatic, selfish and mean sometimes but still I am quite aware of that there are some subjects I can only talk to them. And I only feel comfortable with talking with them.
Ignoring whole gender just because you don't like some of them, doesn't make sense to me.
So I do agree with you some. I can't say a red light. But it says to me, deep down it can be a real problem.

Girl friendship can be challenging. It can get competitive sometimes if you're not around the right girls. By right I mean the ones which you get along with.
Last year I moved to go to college. My girlfriends were at the other end of the country. I spent a lonely year and made absolutely no other girl friend whatsoever. I was not getting along them.
I changed Major and I made 5 girlfriends. I guess that it'll come.

Not always the case, I think it depends where you are from?
I know girls that have mostly male friends and are cool as fuck! They bring peacefullness to groups of men when shit gets rowdy. Also they can be more faithful and extremely helpful in drinker situations. Girl friends are the best!
The biggest problem with girl friends is that they are normally there because they have a goal, that goal is to fuck the guy she thinks is the alpha and then she stops being your friend. That's when the backstabbing starts, when they are dating your mate.

It could also be that she's usually the victim of drama starting, bitchy ladies who claim to be her "friend," therefore she stays away from them. That's part of the reason I'm hesitant to befriend other women, but then again, I don't have any friends, so make of that what you will.

I don't usually see drama from that type of girl. I do usually suspect, if she's not clearly lesbian, that she's hanging out with a bunch of guys with the hopes of sparking a relationship.

There are girls with a good personality that just tend to clash with other girls. I knew one that tended to play video games with me and my friends, and I didn't think there was anything wrong with her.

I feel the same way about dudes with no male friends. The only guys I know personally with no male friends are gay. I'm not saying that's the case for everybody in that situation, but it's just something I've observed in my own social circle.

I do tend to get along better with guys in general and that's probably due to being raised in a mostly male household, but I do have an equal number of female friends as well.

It's not really a red light for anything some women relate to men better than to other women, i have a lot of both and some of my female friends get along better with men, nothing to do with any drama as such.

It's a caution sign for me. Some girls really don't have any female friends because they can't relate with them. But others make drama and blame it on them

In my experience those girls also have a social scene which basically consists of a line of dudes in the friendzone, these dudes get strung along and they all fawn over her.
