Backbones are developed through experience. Don't be racist and to be honest you need to look so someone's upbringing and life experiences. It is a general stereotype that white girls are spoiled and are used to living a very privledged life where things like money, clothes, friends, family, education, and housing are all in abundance, be honest with yourself their biggest struggle is usually very minor. People who have had to struggle or have had a complicated life will be more tough skinned in general. But it's on a case by case basis everyone's experiences are unique to them that's all we have our experiences

The only reason it seems other wise is due to population (whites make up 77% of the total population in the us and as such have a higher probability to be middle class and rich thus skewing popular perceptions about the number of poor whites).
