Every time. I can eat only very small portions. As long as it's not a free breakfast in hotel, it's a waste of money in my case.
I went to the buffet today which led to dehydration after my meal and I was at the medical clinic and they wanted a urine sample. I could not produce more than 10 ml because I was so thirsty and they wanted the sample today, so I could not go home, rehydrate, then give them the sample the very next day. That is one time I regretted eating at a buffet.
If I could even eat that much, I'm sure I would. Bring me the Tums!

I don't go to them anymore. I'm not stuffing myself to discomfort trying to "make a profit" and the food has often been out under those lamps for awhile so is nowhere near fresh. Few years ago I'd go with a bunch of other officers to the $5 CiCi's pizza buffet. They were city employee friendly and would also take our orders and still charge the buffet price... can't beat that.
Only this one chinese buffet joint i went to. I went there for a long time not knowing how many times they's been shut down by the health dept. Luckily i never got sick or anything. But i've heard a lot of stories from others in hindsight.
if it is one in which everyone just reach and grabs...
I just won't go there in the first place.. I can't do that, lol
I have only been twice in my lifetime, and both times it was a disgusting spectacle. Like pigs at a trough, I always call buffets.
Sometimes, because the quality is often not very good.
I don't eat that much so they aren't really worth it anyway for me personally
I never regret it they regret it because I stay for 3 hours eating nonstop Until I’m completely full, getting my moneys worth and some
Hell yes.
not unless you're a fat pig

I’ve walked into a few all-you-can-eat buffets feeling like a conqueror and walked out feeling like a cautionary tale 😂
Sometimes I regret it when the focus is volume over quality: lukewarm dishes, bland flavors, and that heavy, overstuffed feeling afterward.
But at good buffets, like some sushi or dim sum spots I’ve tried, with fresh, well-made food, I never regret it at all.
