Do you like buffet restaurants? Why or why not?

And if so what's your favorite one. For me personally I prefer the pizza buffets cause not only do I love pizza but there's the variety (obsessed with macaroni and cheese pizza and taco pizza). I also love going to Chinese buffets cause they also serve crab legs which are my favorite and sushi. And I also love going to southern buffets, and I am guilty of eating both macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy, I know too much starch but I'm getting my money's worth 😅😋. I'm also a fan of the salad bars at buffets (especially the ones at both pizza and southern buffets) and I'll always get a salad.

I used to. South Korea has this American restaurant chain modeled after Gone From The Wind called Ashley Queens. It's a fully American restaurant with only a few Korean dishes. About $25 a person. It's very popular here, but like most buffet restaurants, the food is mediocre at best. I've only gone three times, and they were like six months apart from each other, and the second time, it was a different chain, cause I thought the first one just sucked. But no; they all taste the same.

The Pizza Hut I used to work at served buffets for lunch and it was the most amazing experience even though I went to their buffet one or two times. I visited mandarin buffet a lot but once I discovered sushi buffets, I no longer cared about the other options unless it was a Chinese buffet but the types I like do not exist where I live, they serve European food for their meat and I don't go to a buffet to eat European food.

Yes cause you have many options but then I feel bad cause I know I'm not going to be able to eat a lot. I can only do about 1 and half plate of food while my husband can eat about 3 or mire depending how hungry he is. Ladies don't let your man go to the buffet after he came from the gym... he will eat like he's never eaten before lol

Yup. Means I can eat as much as I can (hopefully not pizza because cheese fills me quickly. And i may have to pay for it later... in the bathroom.) and won't have to worry about eating until morning or so

Nah they gross me out too much so I just can't. I won't even eat out for full meals anymore. I'll go places for little snacks/drinks but save the real meals for at home where I know for sure is clean.

I am sad that a lot of the Cici's locations closed. Even though their pizza wasn't exactly that great. I still enjoyed it.

Pizza Hut was always and will always be the best pizza buffet, though!

I loved Pizza Hut buffets when I was a little kid. That's when they had the salad bar, variety of pizza, and they had the mini arcade. Childhood memories

I like them but I normally don't go to them. Too much food to eat in one meal! LOL.. When I go to Las Vegas, I go to them, but I don't go to Las Vegas all that often.

I like the breakfast ones as there used to be one in my town that had a breakfast buffet but I think they got run out of business because people came back for too many helpings. Pizza ones are pretty good too but usually the pizza is average.

I love buffets, but some are way cleaner than others. I used to work for one that opened way back in the 70s, unfortunately, the managers had been there for many years and never really modernized.

yeah, my family and I always used to go to this Asian buffet but buffets in general are very unhygienic so that stopped after covid

I love buffet dinners. You can go there when you're hungry and eat your fill. But I've also learned be too much you gain a little weight. So as I've gotten older I've stopped eating at the the face.

I used to. They were great for binges and then covid hot. I realised how nasty they were. I am in recovery for my eating disorder now. Before I used to eat plates after plates after plates. Then throw it up and repet. I don't miss those days.
