Why do too many girls idolize bfs that don't want commitment?

My friend is wasting her time with an idiot her parents and all her other family members hate. We hate him because we know what the deal is. He's using her, taking advantage of her gullible attitude. He's another typical guy that's just for sex (going under the title of ''boyfriend'' but honestly is just acting like a friend with benefit) and nothing else beyond that. They live separately and he stopped visiting her for nearly a whole month, giving excuses about working hard. Plus he has asked her for money twice and he's not paying her back.

Then if he finally does visit her, it's either very early or at night, only for an hour (for the obvious) and then he leaves. He rarely ever takes her out and if he finally does, it's at a cheap Buffet or cheap fast food restaurant with discount tickets and lots of money on a motel. He has no money but to take her to a motel and to buy a whiskey he has all the money. lol

She really thinks he's going to one day have kids with her. LOL. Why do girls like her idolize cheap, worthless bfs that can come and go any moment without any commitment?

He has all the time for sex, motel and expensive drinks but not for just a romantic date (one where you really do spend quality time with) without sex or a regular gift for her.

If a man behaviors like that, he's just a boyfriend by title... he's not dating for commitment. He's not the type that wants a family. Seriously why are those guys idolized so much? There is nothing good about her so called ''boyfriend'' at all. He's just a friend with benefit. Take away the sex part and they have no goals, no plan, nothing great, no nothing into that relationship.

Hundreds of thousands of women are in the identical situation for all the same reasons, and zero of them will have a good outcome at the end, but modern society promotes looks and bad boy energy as "success", and tons of people have bought into that. Is it any wonder that so many people are in the same position?

80% of women are chasing the Top 10% of guys, refusing to "settle" for even 7s and 8s, and are surprised that they get used and then are quickly replaced. Those Top 10% guys have the entire female dating population to choose from, with women throwing themselves at him everyday. Why would they commit - to anyone? The answer is, of course, they almost never do.

I have the same question. I've seen so many women wasting time on guys like this. They don't have interest in decent guys. They disgust normal decent guys yet date these d-bags. Their fake persona make them a massive fool. In a way they deserve it. What these women don't have is self respect. If they have some respect for themselves, they wouldn't do this. Well I don't have an answer but a different example. Had two girls that were ok with no commitment. Didn't bother them. Enter 3rd girl and caught feelings. First two now hate me for it. We get along but its not the same. This didn't happen while I was seeing all of them at same time or anything. This was over a period of time
