Why do the simplest compliments from other women sometimes stay with us?

I was out walking earlier when a random woman driving a huge private bus yelled out to me, “You’re beautiful!” I yelled back, “You too!”

It was such a small, unexpected moment but it genuinely made me smile. I just love seeing women uplift one another…

Because it's more than just flattery. As women one would assume that we would all stick together yet it seems that insecurities get in the way of that. So when another woman gives you a compliment it's genuine and it feeds the soul in a different way to when say for example a man tells you you're beautiful.

The world kinda sucks these days and life is hard, so it’s good to practice random acts of kindness or support like that. You never know when it’ll go a longer way than you’d think for someone who’s having a rough day👍

Because it's a cold world. Doesn't make people the devil. But when someone pays you a compliment they not only took the time to notice. But they thought enough to say something.

Being nice costs a person nothing. But so few people do it.

Because they're often more genuine. A lot of guys, especially if they're looking for dates or to get laid, throw around compliments like candy. It makes them feel meaningless.

Compliments from other women always seem more genuine. Men lie constantly and will always say what they think the woman wants to hear just in an attempt to look good.

Generally I would be embarrassed when another woman gave me a compliment. I didn't know how to act or what to say other than thank you.
