Why do some women give fake compliments?

I've never understood why some women give out fake compliments? They know its a fake compliment and they know the guy is shaking is head in disbelief. I've only received ''Compliments'' online and never in person. I also know those ''Compliments'' are both faked and forced because its the internet people will say anything not to look shallow and superficial. I know I'm ugly and I also never get compliments from women in public so why should I and other guys believe any woman who gives ''Compliments'' online or in person? If their not 100% honest.

They're probably just trying to make you to feel better about yourself. They're just trying to be nice.

Now my question is: why don't you believe their compliments? I'm in love with a man my friends consider ugly; but he is handsome to me. Does that make a liar? It's not because you think you're ugly that everybody thinks the same way.



Also, it's way easier to say something nice to someone you don't know than in person. If things gets weird, you just use the red button.

Well, truth is, If I give a compliment to a guy, it doesn’t automatically means that I'm interested in him. On the contrary, it's easier for me to compliment people I'm not attracted to because I don't have this pressure (how is he gonna take it? Is he gonna find me weird?...).

I don't need any women to give me a compliment to make me feel better because I know its not true. I don't believe their ''Fake Compliments'' because even if I had all the confidence in the world women still reject me so that's proof that anything women say is a lie. Trust me I am ugly and one look at me and you'd be running for a bottle of acid.

So you want women to not acknowledge you at all, because that's exactly what would happen to A LOT of guys.

I never said that? All I said was don't give a compliment to a guy that you know is ugly, and get upset when he hits on you. That's what I'm asking. What I don't get is these women who give out fake compliments know their fake and lead the guy on.
