Is she testing me with the silent treatment?

I've been taking to a mutual friend for about a month. Things were going well until I forgot to invite her out last Friday with some people. I could tell by her reaction the next morning she wasn't happy about it. I tried inviting her out on Saturday but she never responded and I haven't heard from her since. Is this just a test to see if I'm gonna apologize or try begging? Typically, if a girl doesn't respond to a text, then I will not text them back (which I haven't). But I am just curious. She's actually been known to start up drama and is pretty high maintenance of that matters. We both like each other, but I'm not into any games...

I don't know why men assume women are testing , Maybe a lot more women play games then I think. But if she's like me if I'm ignoring calls I meant it , You messed up leave me alone. I don't want to have anything to do with you. No games I mean business.

You forgot to ask her out? Sounds like you really like her, yeah...
Maybe you're the one feeling guilty and she just doesn't care enough to reply ASAP.
If you're not up to playing games, why not just call her and be upfront about it?

Not so much I forgot as I really was just exhausted from work and was only "out" for maybe an hour. She knew that.

Well then, if it was a last minute thing, then no point in inviting her anyway, right?
Maybe she has been busy. Just call her up and you can also judge by her replies and the sound of her voice if she's that angry. If you go into it fearing that she will create a lot of unnecessary drama, then in a way you will be one giving her the tools to do so.

Relationships are already difficult without playing games and finding excuses. Besides, if the other party senses that it will be hard trusting each other.
At least if things don't go well you will know that it really wasn't meant to be and there will be no regrets.

Just keep on as you are. If she never texts... oh well. She's a just a girl, there are more. If she does text you, so much the better.
