She also a few days ago texted me this photo of herself all dressed up for this ball she went to with her girlfriends. As she sent me this picture she asked '' Do i look pretty?" I obvisouly said she did and she replied '' thanks so much babe (face blowing kiss emoji) you should come to my arts ball!!

Honestly it sounds like she is the kind of girl that likes fishing for compliments. By what you have described, you like her right? I think she is aware of that and sees you as a friend and someone she can refer to when she needs a compliment. I miss you can be said to anyone including friends.
