Either are attractive really, I could kind of care less if a guy had a six pack, or was lean, even a guy with a bit of tummy. If the guy were kind, (not like today's thing of being "swag" or what ever that is supposed to be), stuck around by my side even as a friend, and heck, if he didn't judge me for my body either, what would it matter? That is attractive, I'd choose the lean guy over the body builder if he was a sweetheart.
That much muscle is -- from afar when I don't know the person personally -- almost "too much." He could be a fantastic individual, though, and then it would not matter.
But, to be honest, I am more inclined to lean toward the first picture.
I personally would prefer a happy medium. Scrawny guys make me feel like a big chub but bodybuilders make me feel inferior. His shoulders and legs are just a little much. I prefer lean muscle, maybe some bulk in the arms if anything.
Okay he looks great in the "bodybuilder" pic but honestly that's not what I've seen most bodybuilders look like. So if I had to pick between the really huge bodybuilders & then scrawny I would pick scrawny.

Most bodybuilders look smaller than this guy. The ones you are talking about are about 1-5% of the top body builders. Bodybuilders get such a bad name because people are ignorant... anybody who goes to the gym and has a hobby of BUILDING A PHYSIQUE, is a bodybuilder.
My mom's boyfriend was a bodybuilder & he was more shredded than this guy & it's not like he's a known bodybuilder. All of the guys in his competition were more cut than him. The guy that you posted looks better though in my opinion & looks more fit than normal people who workout
Well as I usually don't like bodybuilders, and prefer 'bigger boys' and all as a lot of muscle is a turn off for me he does look better with the muscle mass.

"Bodybuilders" get a bad name... this guy is a bodybuilder but he's not even that monstrous
his physique, dont go by women say here tbh, think about it, have u seen the girls around most fitness models (even the not too facially aesthetic ones btw), does it really matter what the average girl thinks when u see THOSE girls around them. The ideal physique in my opinion is this one though and thats my goal by next year:
There's many homely-introverted girls on gag so I think it's skewed from the general dating population you see out there.
Speaking from experience, the attention from women is NIGHT and DAY from when I was a skinny rail compared to now. Which, is actually a very similar transformation as your pictures.
Indeed you feel better, your healthier, you get more attention from women and people in general, more respect etc, there really is no valid excuse to not get fit and healthy.
I like the first pic better. I like someone's natural shape, I'm not crazy about fitness nuts tbh but each to their own.

Either for me. I'm sometimes attracted to super slim guys that don't really have any tone. Sometimes I like slim toned guys, and sometimes I like muscular. I think it depends on his face (for me to find him attractive).
Not really... Almost all male models are pretty scrawny... Male rock and metal stars are scrawny - there's a stereotype that scrawny isn't sexy, and I'll be honest, I prefer a chubby guy over scrawny, but a body builder or whatever that is in the picture - I never go for that (never say never, but I have never before and I don't see it as attractive at all). o. O
Have you ever seen a hunk look good in a suit? Specially when there is such a difference between chest and waist sizes. They look... odd... for lack of a better word.
@ConsultantIsBack I think, girls who themselves have those repulsive looking 6 packs and abs and arms do go for big shoulders and small waists. But that's it. :)
I mean ya in my opinion well toned is like your chiseled type you see in Hollywood, whereas on gag the word "bodybuilder" tends to automatically be associated with huge mass monsters, which isn't always true. Just in my opinion.
