Who have more attractive bodies - fighters or bodybuilders?

To my eye - fighters. But I train and watch boxing and mma so may be biased.

both have low body fat, both are defined. Bodybuilder ls are focused on aesthetics but to a degree that some times makes them look visually unbalanced to me. Like a V taper is great and all but these guys have taken it to the point that it looks like their core strength isn’t remotely high enough to match what their parts could put out.

it’s a bit unfair perhaps though because you’re looking at pros here. If someone is going to spend 4 hours a week, bodybuilding is probably going to make more visual impact than training a combat art where most of your work is skill work with s&c being incidental vs targeting visual weakpoints.

Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to be like Goku and have his build, which is why I started martial arts. Luckily for me as I got older my body started to naturally change in that I've got a natural large frame upper body, so my upper body looks like the dude in the picture on the beach but with less muscular definition. I don't think it's possible to get as cut as some of these bodybuilders without using enhancers like steroids but it's something I am trying to do, now that I am trying train in weightlifting as well as martial arts. I want the physique and build of a bodybuilder but with even more speed and stamina from my martial arts.

I had the same plan when I started working out - To have the body of a bodybuilder but the skills of a fighter. However, there comes a point when you have too much muscle and it become detrimental to your success as a fighter. Like for me, I’m 6’1 and I wanted to get to around 190 lbs, 8-10% body fat. But the ideal for a fighter would be more like 175 lbs. Also, I’ve heard a lot of guys say they attract the most amount of girls with a skinnier physique like a fighter instead of being a bit bulkier as a bodybuilder. That’s part of why I asked this question. To see what girls had to say. And it’s pretty much what I expected.

Fighters. They tend to look lean and dangerous, and their stamina seems obvious, hence odds are that sex with one would be good at the least, whereas Bodybuilders look like cartoons and kinda gross in all honesty. That, and with their obvious steroid use, you can bet that most bodybuilders have microdicks.

Fighters for sure! Muscles are great, but if it's literally ALL you can see when you look at a guy that's a massive turn off for me, as well as being obsessed with their looks.

Make bodybuilders tend to look hotter but I don't feel the same with female bodybuilders, I like curvy women. So neither I don't like women with muscles but if the girl were a fighter but she still has her feminine physic than I can make an exception to the female fighter. But he'll to the no for female bodybuilders.

I'll vote fighter just because I've trained for the better half of my life, although I have competed some I would not consider myself a fighter, but for sure a great way to be in shape

I'd rather have an athletic build if I had to choose, but some athletes are simply lean. Boxers tend to have no legs.

I’m a retired pro fighter. We have to have USEFUL strength for practical reasons. Most of us can’t gain bulk easily given all the cardio we do. We just get more cut and lean, especially right before a fight.
