What does it mean when a girl calls a guy "sweet"?

A girl that I REALLY like just told me that I am one of the sweetest guys she has ever met! What do you think this means? Is that something that you would say to just a friend, or someone you are attracted to?

To give you some more information about her, she is 16 and has never had a boyfriend. She is very shy when it comes to boys and has never admitted to liking anyone. Oh and did I mention that she is the most beautiful girl in the world? 😊

"You're so sweet" is for friends.
"You're the sweetest guy ever" most likely means that I like him. A lot.
I can't speak for all girls, but this is how I tend to operate.

Definitely not something I say to a friend. I tell the guy I like all the time that he is the sweetest guy I know. He is kind, funny and cute. He makes me feel special

Usually it means, as a friend... so do t take it to heart if u think she may like u... but if she's shy, u can never be sure, be bold and just ask her straight up, u don't seem like the shy type.. :)

she thinks you are cute, attractive, a gentleman and a nice guy :) its not really something you say to a friend
