The guy I’m seeing always tells me, “You’re so sweet to me.” We’re in a long-distance relationship, texting every day and meeting up once a month.
One day, I sent him a message saying, “Your clients can’t bother you on the first day of the new year—I’d rather be the first one to bother you 🥰.” He replied, “You know you’re so damn sweet,” and, “You’re already the first thing I check every morning.” Other than this, he often calls me “sweet,” but I think it’s just a compliment.(like when I sent a care package when he was sick)
I’m not a native English speaker, so I googled it, and some people said that when a guy calls you “sweet,” it means he doesn’t want a relationship. What do you think?
