What does it mean when a guy calls you sweet?

So I held the door open for my crush and he said “thank you (my name).. So sweet)” i noticed when he said “so sweet” he looked down at the floor and lowered his voice. While i DONT prefer to be called hot or sexy, to me being called sweet or cute means I’m in the friendzone or something !

I don't think that you're being friendzoned. I can't say whether he likes you or not, due to lack of information. Usually, your gut is right when it comes to knowing if somebody has a crush on you or not. Also, some men like cute women, so being called cute or sweet doesn't mean he doesn't like you. That determines if he goes out of his way for you and puts more effort into conversations.
