So i just moved to this city, and at the company they had a lunch for the new employees, and this woman was working with people who introduced us to other employees, anyway i was sitting eating my food with a new girl and a guy, then she showed up and sat next to me, and a manager came and sat there too, she was asking us questions and the guy and the girl acted shy, so i felt awkward silnce so i started to make jokes about my flight and they were all laughing, then she waited for me until i finished my food then she asked me if i want a cheesecake i told her yes and whe i was about to get up to bring one she told me to sit and that she will bring for me, she brought for us and we sat there with the guy and a girl, then i left and forgat my bag when i came to take it she made a joke about it i laughed and left, was she just being nice or what? No woman brought me food before?
Did she get one for herself at the same time? Because if so, it means nothing. It's rude to get up to get food for yourself without at least offering to get some for whomever you're speaking with.

It just sounds like she was being polite. I've done this for newcomers before whether they were male or female. I do it to make them feel more comfortable.
If I ever do that it would probably because my parents sent me, my friend likes the guy, or I like the guy.
It means she's playing the long game.
