Why is she so aggressive?

I work with this girl who is SO aggressive. She has to be right all the time and will be hostile towards everyone to the point where no one wants to question her or stand up to her. She treats people like they're children and likes to control every single thing other people do.

I think she's a little scared of me because I have fought back before. But I can't figure out why someone would be like this?

Insecurity, plain and simple.

She has a connection to every fight, and it relates to her esteem directly.
The more she 'wins' the better she feels. Which is why she can stand to be stood up to.

I'm pretty aggressive and can respect others who stand up for themselves.

I don't like her level of aggressiveness because she doesn't let people be themselves. Any time someone has any kind of FEELING or EMOTION, she treats them like they're weak or incapable and then she quickly "takes over". It's like the only language she understands is power.

She doesn't have any people skill. Most likely suffers from anxiety. There is a difference from being an aggressive leader over being a fcking spaz lol.

She is a total spaz! It's like she's afraid to let anyone else have an opinion or even an identity of their own. She has to "take over" everything, it's suffocating. And I don't like to be suffocated or dominated, so I keep her away from me.

No fixing people like that. Just stand your ground and keep your distance. I was surrounded by people like this that were in charge of me in the military all the time. No argument is going to make them see otherwise.
