Why do some women get more cuddly when on their period?

My new girlfriend is not the most affectionate person nor am I but for some reason reason she is only cuddly when on per period she will want to be held, sleep in my arms and want back rubs which I don't mind but I find it the opposite of my past relationships. My ex would want to be alone when on her period and and really cuddly every other time.

I think it differs from person to person. Many girls here have stated that they would rather be left alone during their periods while others have stated that they want support including sex because apparently it helps them with cramps or something.

If you're giving her what she wants and rubbing her back and all of that, you're being a good dude and she should appreciate you for it.

It's really unspoken kind like she will sit down by me when I watch TV and move my hand on her back and I just go with it. I'm not a cuddler nor is she most times so o enjoy a little change up.

As you can see, hormones are beasts who can change your normal behaviour.
I think she's just feeling down, tired, etc. and wants your care and attention. Much like being sick, really. Every month.

I don't experience pain during my periods and I act the same as I do any other day.
