It hurts as it would getting hit anywhere somewhat sensitive. The sensitive part, the clitoris, is covered and retracted when a women isn't arroused. It is definitely not the same as getting hit in the balls, not that women don't deal with strong intense pain.
Also using a pain scale might not be the best way to gain understanding. Each person experiences pain differently. Most often a 9-10 is the most painful thin a person has experienced. For a 2 year old it could be a bumped knee or a paper cut. For others it could be kidney stones, birth, or cancer. I will give you serious credit for asking about something you didn't know rather than making assumptions! Keep it up!
From what I know it hurts way less than when a guy gets hit in his testicles but it still hurts a lot

I was with my friends and we were walking through a field to the woods and we had to get over a barbed wire fence to get in the woods. The girls all climbed over and it was my turn. As I got my leg over I slipped on the metal wide and fell down. I had a let either side of the barbed wire fence. So it went in between my legs and the bath cut into my knickers and it shocked me really badly and the pain was horrible. It caught my vagina when I fell. So I had to pull the wire out of my underwear and I was bleeding down my legs. The girls all helped to lift me up and the younger girl was in front of me and she had to pull the barb out of my cotton underwear. So she saw my knickers right in front of her. Then when I was free to walk on we Sat down in the woods and she was sitting next to me and I cried and cried and felt up my skirt with a tissue to wipe up the blood. It was the worst pain ever in my life.
yes, but i'm quite certain that it didn't hurt nearly as bad as it does to get hit in the balls... i saw this stupid girl kick a boy in the balls while she was wearing high heels. he dropped to the ground and threw up. it was horrible.
It hurts like a bitch but not as bad as guys getting hit in their junk. My friend told me he got hit there and he felt like he could feel his balls at the back of his throat.
