My boyfriend's female friend just blocked me on Facebook?

Question

I noticed her comment below one of his pics was gone. Out of curiosity, I went to see if maybe he deleted her or vice versa. I didn't see her on his friends list. I brought her name up and noticed it said content unavailable. I've been blocked and have blocked people and that's what it says when you're blocked.
I don't understand why she would block me when I haven't even talked to her? I know they used to hang out, he said only as friends, but now I don't know what to think? I have always had a bad vibe about her and if they really were just platonic. I text him earlier that I noticed she blocked me and that it seemed fishy. I don't know what to think or do about it. It's making me uncomfortable because obviously something happened to make her do such a thing.

so you are bothered because you can't see if she is doing anything with your boyfriend, is that the gist of it? humm... how much do you trust your boyfriend? it isa lot to ask a girlfriend to accept his female friend, that is a boundary risk. I had the same challenge with my girlfriend... it bugged the heck out of her. I was always open with her, but still causes issues.
What are you comfortable with in terms of this other woman. Try to setup boundaries with him and her, like you are included in everything, or he lets her go, etc.. You may ned a counselor to help sort through that.

this will either build trust or tear it up... been there done that...

Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. It's more likely that she deactivated her account because it makes more sense would cause you to see the same thing.

Now, I was about to ask why you care and suggest that, even if she did block you, you shouldn't care and shouldn't make her problems your problems; but then I read this: "I have always had a bad vibe about her and if they really were just platonic." 🙄

Your jumping to conclusions based on little to no evidence and are probably on the verge of making yourself appear insecure, which it would seem that you are.

Trust your instinct.. you said you get the bad vibe about her.
And.. i have to add.. sometimes people deactivate their accounts and you will receive that message of (content unavailable).. you can still look up for her from another family member account to verify.

This happened to me. I later found out that the girl who did this had a big thing for my boyfriend, who later cheated on me (not with her, some other girl.) Needless to say this is serious in my opinion from personal experience. Communicate with your boyfriend about about this, in person to his face, immediately. If he dodges the subject, or his body language is off, pay attention. Update us if you need more advice.

It may be because she simply doesn't like you.
Or, maybe she doesn't like you because you're with the person she really wants to be with.

There's no telling one way or another unless you just ask her straight up. But whether she likes your boyfriend or not, that's not really the problem. The issue is: do you trust your bf? If you trust him, then whatever she feels or doesn't feel is inconsequential.

I bet there is something either on her facebook or that she has posted that she doesn't want you to see. What does your boyfriend think? If you know someone who has her on their friends list maybe ask them to look on her page and see what she's posted? I can understand having strict privacy on FB but when its a friend of a boyfriend blocking YOU for no reason yeah something is being hidden.

That's weird. Could be nothing though, people do weird things sometimes that aren't for any logical reason. You should have mentioned it to him face to face so you could see his reaction better though. Keep an eye on the situation, but don't take her doing this as a big sign or anything, because as I said, people can just do weird things sometimes that make no sense.

This happened to me. Recently. These are the type of -disloyal to women- women who get off on meddling in relationships. This literally just happened to me. I met a woman my boyfriend vaguely knew at a party. He introduced me as his girlfriend. She proceeded to insert herself in between us the entire time and was making me v uncomfortable. At some point I sort of got my boyfriend away from her (he should’ve known ) and asked him about her as in, who is this person how do u know her? She was literally like stalking us and cornering him at a party. He blew up when I asked. (Suspicious) situation got weirder. boyfriend sorta accused me of being mean to her? I was literally trying to get away from her … later the next few days I see she’s blocked me on IG. IT MEANS she's TRYING TO G TO STEAL YOUR boyfriend. this is what happened with this chick. He DARVO’d me when I found messages she’d been sending him that were inappropriate and he was somewhat egging her on. There is no reason for a woman to block a male friends girlfriend unless they are up to dodgy bs. Trust me I’m an older woman. I know this type of woman. They are misguided the get off on getting power by hurting other women. I broke up with him after almost 2 years of a solid relationship for related reasons by thus behavior changed drastically once this woman showed up and then blocked me.

Maybe she wants to be able to talk to him without his nosy girlfriend reading everything. Would you like it if every time you meet your friends, he was there listening to everything that is said? Sometimes, people need to vent and they often do it to their friends. It's most people's way to get the puss out so they can go home with a different perspective renewed interest.
