My crush blocked me on Facebook for no reason?

ok i have been crushing on this guy for months. he and i work together and get along pretty well. he and i became friends but since were both really busy we couldn't talk very much at work so we added each other on Facebook.
we talked every nigh after work for 1 to 2 hours and at work we kept it professional. when i would be by myself at work he would come around. sneak up on me or just come and have a quick exchange of words.
now when we started talking he was single but while he was talking to me he was talking to someone else as well.
when he became in a relationship with this lady i backed off of him i didn't message him or really come on to him out of respect to her.
he did the same thing after a month or so he snuck up on me and started being friendly again so we started talking again. then he pulled away after he caught himself flirting.
so we kept space then started talking again. he never told me i was bothering him and when i asked he always said no. so one day we were talking as normal and next thing i know im blocked out of nowhere and he gives me the cold shoulder.

my guy friends that I've talked to said im his Plan B. his rebound chick, his back up.
do guys have these? i would figure him being older he wouldn't be into the confusing head games

i really dont get it he acted like he was interested and then he didnt' then he did again then he pulled away then came back then blocked me. so i dont understand

This is a theory, and only that, but one based on experience. First off this is a good guy if he isn't flirting and purposely avoids it even when the two of you are alone. Maybe he has you as a back up plan, but is that such a bad thing, if you were talking to him while he was in a relationship and flirting you either wanted that or fit him to cheat, I don't think you wanted the latter. You just have to respect his decisions, and if he is attracted enough to you that he feels it might compromise his current relationship, the. Perhaps that's a positive trait again and one that is even more positive for you. I'll tell you my self though, it hurts to see someone you like in a relationship and honestly, maybe him cutting ties to you was a blessing in disguise, though I'm sure it doesn't feel like that and I guarantee it won't feel like that anytime soon. This said I honestly respect the guy and his choices, I don't think he's planning on using you as some sort of insurance, because he's apoarently interested enough in this girl to cut off others and he cared enough about you not to toy with your heart and give you false expectations. I don't know the full story, but that's what I get.

Ok understanding what your saying but still why would he come around be a friend then almost disappear. he's cought himself flirt and each time it was basically the same flirt like. Example. We were texting and at one point he sent "lol" so I replied with a "dont you lol me... lol" and he replied back. "I just did and
Ill do it again lol" so after that he dissapeared thr first time.

Then when we started up again we were having a big long humorous discussion about trucks and I mentioned something being fun to watch and he replied with a "ehhh" so I said
"Dont you eh me Mr. " and he replied with the same "lol I just did and ill do it again. Ehh."

After both of those sentances is when he backed off. First one was before gf second was after she came along.

He had me very confused. Right now were not talking at all at work and it does hurt.

Thats the thing I dont mingle because I always end up hurt. I really liked this guy I dont know what happened.
