Why won't she accept my Instagram follow request?

There's this girl I like that lived on my floor this past year at school. I've talked to her whenever I saw her and thought it'd be nice to follow her to stay in touch since I graduated this year. I followed her a few days back and she hasn't accepted my request but has accepted others. Is there a reason she's ignoring my request?

Could be that she doesn't want to add you because she doesn't like you for whatever reason or doesn't want to lead you on by adding you thinking that you already have a thing for her :/ Sometimes you could be the nicest person to someone and they still may not like you for whatever reason. I say, delete the request and don't talk to her next time or just smile politely and walk away. Focus your attention on another girl because for her own reasons she's not accepting it.

I see two possibilities:
1. She can't tell its you from your Instagram profile (maybe you have a confusing username or picture)
2. Or she doesn't want to be in touch with you.
If it is this second one, she's not worth your time.
