Why doesn't my ex girlfriend accept my Instagram request?

She's a very nice girl. It's private. Mine too. But I see that she gets followers and follows people, It increases. I sent her a follow request and this morning I checked at it said "Follow" again. She broke up with me, but we broke up in a good term. We still talk and are friends

Maybe she just needs some distance after the break up before you two can be so close again. It's her personal account, she probably doesn't want you seeing certain aspects of her life at this point just yet as she may want to feel she can get over things and deal with it in her own space, which is healthy.
