Girls, Why did women liked hairy men earlier but absolutely hate it now?

Earlier women used to like hairy men including hairy chest and even didn't mind hairy back.
But now women the modern women hate hairy chest and back and even wishes men have hairless legs and arms.
Why this huge change in choice of a woman?

I mean it has drastically reduced, men used to grow some hairy chest and back few decades ago but new generation men don't grow them much anyway and the new women hate it as well.
They want even a slight hair on the upper body to be waxed bare and any course hair on legs and arms to be trimmed short

Hair is the best! I literally will look at a guys legs to see how hairy they are! Weird sure, but I find hair to be extremely masculine & I love a guy with a beard. I'm unsure of a full blown beard like in duck dynasty haha. Hair is a plus in my book so I have no idea why women don't like it.

I personally like hair anywhere except the back. But I mean it's not like it would turn me off to the point that I wouldn't find them attractive anymore. Hair is attractive in a man. No hair makes me think he's really young & possibly doesn't have good genes.
