Some of it is going to boil down to the fundamental differences between male and female anatomy. For example, male and female skull:
www.juniordentist.com/.../...-vs-female-skull.jpeg
The forehead is receding, wider, bigger jaw, brow ridge is more pronounced, etc. In terms of hairline, it tends to be higher in men.
As we start working towards flesh and muscle and hair, we see broader necks in men, thinner lips but wider mouth, stronger jawline with more obvious clenching of the jaw due to the bigger muscles, less arched, adam's apple, smaller eyes, hollower cheeks, etc.
All of this helps to kind of understand the fundamental differences between male and female and what might constitute a "masculine" face (in a sense that goes beyond sociological constructs but based on universal differences between male and female anatomy). As for what we consider attractive, often what tends to be popular in society will be male faces that tend to be rather canonical. They'll have all these types of features but not too pronounced or exaggerated any particular way, and often without too much asymmetry.
Some of it is also purely sociological and just what we value. It's kind of a chicken or the egg problem: do we consider a face attractive because it's popular in media, or is it popular in media because we consider it attractive?
Anyway, this is far from a definitive answer but it might yield some insight.10 Reply

Handsome is often treated as the more masculine equivalent of beautiful. Human facial attraction stems from symmetry between two halves of the face. So if a man has a very symmetrical face with traditionally masculine qualities (strong/square jaw, defined cheekbones, etc.) people would traditionally consider him handsome. However, if he had softer features, he'd lean more towards beautiful.
This analogy may not work for everyone, but the distinction between "beautiful" and "handsome" in men can be seen when contrasting someone like Jared Leto (beautiful) with Matt Damon (handsome).10 Reply
I call men beautiful... this guy here, dear god he's so beautiful I could cry...

+1 yI don't know dude but what works well for me is ; blow drying my hair using top of the range hair products and. Using good barbers, tanning , trimming eye brows , blue eyes , working out 5 days a week, I get a lot of women. Hitting on me on transport , stores , night clubs. It's also how you carry yourself. A lot of women may prefer a man who is a little introverted. Just be unique and yourself dude women love that shit

I messed up on the reply, I meant that it's not socially acceptable to call a man beautiful because it implies that he looks feminine, likewise it's not socially acceptable to call a woman handsome because it implies that she looks masculine.
