Girl plays guy, but gets mad when he cut her off?

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine, while brilliant and successful, has much to learn about women. Against our advice as friends, he dated the wrong type of girl. Thankfully, when she told him she was playing him, they broke up, and he never looked back.

She however, tried to reconnect via texts and calls, but my man never replied. Eventually, she retorted to using different phone #s, but he still ignored her. Ultimately, after a few months she finally left him alone.

Why would she play a guy, but get upset when he cuts her off? Fragile self esteem? Doesn't know what she wants? Yes, she is young (college aged).

Man, pssssssh, let me tell you. This girl who liked me strung me along sexually. But when walk her home, give her flowers, stay up with her with texting, and hung out with her when no one really wanted to. She was really cold to me. She was hugging everyone else but me, she was laughing other people jokes but mine, didn't care if walked her home, she blushed when I gave her flowers, and she was a boring texter on purpose. After a year I gave up and ignored her. She blew up my phone, she played around a lot with me sexually and told her to stop, and my older sister saw how she was crying cause she wanted my attention. Her close friends told me ( her best friend) she was quiet and sad. After that she got word that I didn't care. So we broke it off. i don't know why they play games or test people and expect some one to chase them.

Similar to a rainbow having many colors, games are played for many different reasons. With your girl and my friend's girl, it's for a fragile self esteem and ego. If you've ever been chased by a girl, or at least get handsome attention from women, it feels great.

With some, they take it very far, aka attention whores - it's no coincidence some celebrities go over the top with plastic surgery. Nearly all manipulation can be detected if you are aware enough.

Also, sorry to hear what happened man. One girl played me back in high school due to my naivete at the time. I know how it feels.

Yeah, that's common. She only ever wanted his attention and nothing else. A lot of girls at that age are like that, they like having a guy care about them and be there for them whenever they feel like an ego boost and then push him away when they don't, she'll lead the guy on to a point where it becomes inconvenient because he's going on within the relationship and in the end she's got to break it to him and cut things off. So he leaves and then her being her typical self when she's feeling down at some point she'll start to miss the way he made her feel so she'll try and get him back.
