Why do guys have no reaction when a girl ends things?

As a general rule, guys are expected to be strong, stable, and competent. Its reinforced from the time they are young until they die. Women expect it and even sexually respond to it. It involves their professional life and friendships.
Guys will grieve, cry, and feel depression, but do it inwardly or in private.

However, IF they are doing it to be spiteful... Nothing is more devastating to a women than knowing she can be replace in a day. A reaction, even a negative one, says he cares. An apathetic one shows he does not, and is one date request away from replacing you.

Even though I'm the one who initiated the break up, and my ex acted like it was fine with her. She immediately started contacting her orbiters. 3 months later I saw her walking across the street while I was walking hand in hand with my current (even hotter) girlfriend. You should have seen her face, she clearly was upset.

It's called having an abundance mindset. It's not just stoicism that plays a role as others have mentioned. It very well may be that the man you're dealing with (who doesn't show a reaction) is a high value male who knows he can replace you. Why should he bother with a woman who has ended things if he can get with another woman the next day?

Also, why do YOU care if YOU'RE the one who ended things? Or are you expecting guys to simp for you even after rejecting them?

We absolutely have a reaction, but the reaction is usually one of frustration, and it's better not to let women see that side of you. I once had a girl quasi end things with me, and she absolutely could not believe it when I told her I didn't want to stay friends.

I would just walk away from her and not talk to her again. I dont waste my time on someone who rejected me or isn't interested
