Girls, what does it mean when another girl looks you up and down?

Like she gives you the once over or just stares at you intently? I've noticed a lot of girls staring at me (a girl once stopped talking to her friend to stare at me), give me the once over like guys do or just stare at me blatantly even when they know that I can clearly see them staring at me..

I get a lot of attention from guys but getting this similar kind of attention from girls is a bit weird lol so I was wondering, what does this all mean exactly?

They're just checking you out and judging your appearance like guys do! Something that you're wearing is catching their eye! Enough to where they do a full look up of you! Maybe you're wearing a foxy dress or have a more quirky fashion sense! Nevertheless you're catching their eyes! They could be using you as a fashion reference which is most likely the case! I find myself doing it all the time! Literally just a couple of hours ago I did it to a girl who was wearing braids, a black and white dress and nude colored shoes. And I thought "that outfit looks good but I wouldn't ever wear shoes like that! They looks uncomfortable." It doesn't necessarily mean that those girls are thinking anything bad about you, however that could be the case I won't deny that! Still, like in my example I simply just thought that the shoes looked uncomfortable, nothing bad at all! I think that lots of people do that to an extent though! We're all just trying to fit into the world and present ourselves well! So we take little notes to ourselves! Sometimes we don't even bother to hide the fact that we're staring because we have no shame in it! We're simply looking because we're curious! I hope this opinion helps :)

Well I get complimented a lot on my fashion sense by everyone: friends, family etc... so I'm guessing these girls who stare at me also like my fashion sense..

Yeah! That's most likely the case! You're wearing fashionable stuff and they're looking at you for reference on how to better their sense, so it's really a very high compliment :)

Either you don't have a very good sense of fashion, or you are really pretty. Believe it or not, women can crush on women! Not always in the way that is romantic, but we can definitely spot a pretty face, and who doesn't like to look at something/someone who is pretty?

lol I have both.. everyone compliments me on my fashion sense.. about looks.. well I don't want to sound too full of my self haha 😁 (that's why I didn't put this in the description) but everyone thinks I'm quite pretty and attractive/hot.. hence I get a lot of attention from guys..

She is sizing you up. Girls do this because they want to be superior and you may be competition for whatever reason.
Its just a human reaction to size up your competition.

You're dressed nice or look good maybe. Some do it because they're checking out the competition though. Honestly, I know both types of girls. The ones who see you as competition are always bitches anyway. Girls that do that shit are annoying.

I recently have been getting this problem.
Very simply she likes you and is checking you out.
If she gives you a nasty look however, means she's jealous.
I've had same problems and one even asked for my number.

This happened to me recently. Another woman who looked like she was in her thirties checked out my outfit as I walked by. She was eyeing my lower body. I wore all black: a nice top, a tight skirt that was not too short, and black heels. She didn't look like she was jealous. She looked like 'Wow nice outfit and body. Then, later on, I glanced in her direction, and she was staring at me. I didn't make it obvious that I noticed these things at all. I took it as a compliment even though I found it a little strange. But hey, people find people attractive in general.

I don't know girls are raised To think of other girls as there competition I'm not gonna lie I look girls up and down sometimes to just because and I get looked up and down to its just a territorial thing if a girl thinks someone is a little better looking then them even if they know they'll never see you again they look you up and down and study you because we all see eachother as competition and compare ourselves to every girl we see.
