what would be the reason for that. also her behavior was different around me. its not like I'm disgusting in character and personality?

Well, there could be a number of reasons and also I know sumone who has also experienced what you have experienced. But in his case, it was because he liked the girl and the girl could tell he liked her but she didn't like him back, so it created awkwardness between them when confronted with social situations and thus she was inadvertantly cold towards him. In your case, this could be a possible reason why she feels awkward around you. Or, maybe its because she doesn't like something about you- maybe some aspect of your personality or demeanour but this doesn't mean that there's something wrong with you, we can't expect everyone to like us and act kind towards us, thus this could be why she acts awkward around you. Or she has probably defined you as someone who she wouldn't want to make friends with (some girls are like that-total bitches to all sexes), and thus attempts to keep away from you like you're some disease or somthing. Don't take this to heart though, the very fact that she dismissed you when you tried to find out further indicates that perhaps she is of the third option variety, therefore I wouldn't honestly waste my breath with her. If you do like her (and I'm only assuming here, I may be wrong, god knows I'm no psychic), remember girls are not like guys. They are very complex and may not react simplistically as most guys do, our answer is in our stares, the way we look at you and also our body language. In her case, I would say that she doesn't like you, period. But forget her man, she's probably a cow anyways.

I think she likes me, for example at party she singles me out and only approaches to talk to me .. and only me. I can feel her nervousness around me and sometimes she's lost words because she is trying hard to talk to me. she's gorgous, most guys fall for her, she knows it too. sometimes I feel she just wants attention because I act disinterested and cool. I'm don't want to play her mind games, but the more I act this way the more she comes to me

Looking at what you've jus said, if she does reli single you out and does actually feel nervous around you then perhaps she likes you as well. BUT, you have got to make sure that this is a fact and not just wishful thinking, so I suggest that in order to see whether what you think about her liking you is true, ask a friend to watch how she behaves around you whilst she speaks to you, if he/she sees her display the characteristics that you have mentioned like her feeling nervous around you

Or trying hard to talk to you, then perhaps she does like you. Also, to deal with your reservations regarding whether she just wants your attention because you act 'disinterested and cool', I suggest you change your tactics and suddenly give her some attention by listening to her. Two things could happen here which will decide whether she reli likes you or that she jus wanted your attention. One, she would feel shy but happy that you have given her some attention and are talking to her or two,

This probably means you've done something to make her feel uncomfortable. The word awkward is NOT good! I'm not really sure if this is fixable or not, because it may just be that your personalities don't "mix well".

I would just go for a kiss on the lips. Awkwardness would certainly be gone, if she doesn't like you then she will slap you and don't talk to you anymore (awkardness gone). If she does like you she will either kiss back or smile shyly. In that case awkward will be gone for a bit but at least she knows where she stands.
