I want to preface this by saying it's all said in fun. I'm not looking for derogatory/inflammatory comments, just some hilarious women's logic that looking back we can see it was a bit crazy.
Whats the best (or worst) argument or conversation you've had over a woman's logic? I'm friends with a lesbian couple who currently aren't talking... because one of them cheated on the other in her dream. didn't actually happen - but she's legit mad at her partner because it happened in her dream. It's been three days! I think mine would have to be getting offended and really upset when my husband said he'd shoot me if we ended up in a zombie apocalypse because he's not carrying my three suitcases and a dufflebag, and when I yell at him to give me space after an argument (but don't tell him how much space) but then get even angrier when he gives me too much space. Sorry babe 😘

I had a date with a girl off tinder last week and despite that she had a car, she wanted me to pick her up from her place before going to the bar instead of meeting me there because she was too scared of meeting strangers in public places. That was backwards logic to me.
Another is the waiting game. Girl: He texted me 1-2 days after the date? Eww he's so needy Girl: He texted me 3-5 days after the date? Wtf, he's lost interest and I don't have time for games
Yeah it's like wait, aren't you concerned about your safety? This girl also mentioned how she had an abortion in the past and how she once was taking a pregnancy test and how she got caught by a train then had her period. Wtf, who brings that up on a first date?
and yeah the texting game makes no sense at all. If you like each other, why play games? I mean you don't gotta smother someone but you don't have to ignore someone for days on purpose to prove your worth to them.
We only had one date. It was weird. She asked me to meet up again at the end of the 2nd date then we kissed. Then next day I text her with some video she wanted me to send to her and asking her how her test went then no response.
I wait to text her 3 days later as I got no response. Then she gives a short response. Told her a joke then she laughed then an hour later I texted her asking if she used instagram and snapchat and got no response.
I'll share one of my own "logics". I have a hard time wearing the same dress to several parties. If it's a casual dress that I can wear on non-special occasions then that's fine, but for actual *party* dresses I have a hard time wearing them more than once. I always associate the dress with whatever party I went to and it just ends up feeling "meh". It's much more fun to go to a party in a new dress! Thankfully I don't go to parties very often though, at least not ones that I can just wear regular clothes to (or just a nice top and a nice pair of pants).
@StickStickity13 well yeah I make the association but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't be able to wear it on more than one party lol. It's just a preference for me.

I can't even believe that people think that I'm actually ok when I say I am (mostly my boyfriend) and then I just punch him in his shoulder and start crying.
If the boyfriend asks me what's wrong after we've just had an argument and I say nothing he should know for damn sure that I am plotting his murder in my head.

There's another one which isn't really all the funny to me, just baffling, is how some women decide in the span of like, 3 months, that the guy is the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with until they get divorced. I have a few friends that subscribe to the school of "married in a year or he's no good kick him to the curb" and I watch them cycle through sensible dudes who don't propose off the bat and congratulate themselves over it and I'm like "... why..."

Maybe this situation can just be chalked up to my crappy luck but, hey..
When it comes to my relationships, I'm strongly against ideals like: "letting it sort itself out" "If it's not meant to work out from the start, it won't work out" "If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you, it's yours."
Therefore, when I see a problem with the relationship (examples being, my girl suddenly becoming distant from me or becoming visually sadder/angrier when I'm near), this is how I respond:
I go in, find out the source of the disturbance, and kill it as quickly and efficiently as possible (Side note, I was never a fan of Vampire Dairies but that Gif is just awesome).
The catch is that somehow this approach makes some girls think I don't care about her or that she's not good enough for me. I'll admit, I can be a little aggressive and overly serious about taking care of whatever the problem may be, but that's only BECAUSE I care. I wouldn't be putting so much effort into fixing the problem if I didn't care or if I thought you weren't good enough. That's crazy talk.
I've been told that, instead of "diving in headfirst," I should be instead be laid back, charming, funny, sweet, give her time to handle/get over it herself. That's not how I operate. Because whatever's troubling her is interfering with our relationship; and anyone who knows the first thing about me knows that I have a VERY low tolerance for unaddressed interference.
@SovereignessofVamps That depends on whether or not it's directly related to me or the relationship. If it is, we exchange our points of view and work out how our concerns can be solved in the simplest way possible.
If it's not about me or us and is instead about something going on in her life, I encourage her to come to me about it anytime she needs to relieve herself of any pent up stress or pain she may be carrying. If we're together, your problems are partially mine as well. I don't want my own girlfriend to be afraid of coming to me when she needs some TLC.
Oh I get it, you get everything out in the open! That's cool. I do like to keep my secrets myself though, so that wouldn't always work for me, although ofc I';d discuss if my boyfriend upset me always.
@SovereignessofVamps Everyone needs to keep some secrets, of course. I doubt there's as such a thing as a relationship where everyone involved knows EVERYTHING.
But, if what you're hiding is affecting how you behave with your partner, I say it needs to be let out.

This isn't really a logic thing, but I have a theory that the ability to turn a light on is carried on the X chromosome, and the ability to turn a light off is carried on the Y chromosome. That's why only men have the ability to turn a lamp on and then turn it off when they leave the room.
Haha in my house it's the exact opposite, he leaves every freaking light in the house turned on - but closes the doors to the television room so it doesn't impact his viewing experience. How about he just turns the 8 between him and the front door off instead?

Having shitty sex for no reason. Most guys will do whatever she asks for in bed. So why would she just lay there, and not get more orgasms and pleasure for herself?
It's almost funny, like on other sites I see stories from women who faked orgasms for years with their SOs, and finally admitted it. And everyone is like, why did you admit it now, like why wait and randomly admit one day? And I know why now, even though that used to confuse me too. It's because, she didn't want to live with terrible sex anymore. But it was her own fault, the guy didn't even do anything wrong. She just faked to make herself look more dramatic/awesome in bed, but she inconvenienced herself so much in the longrun.

Those stories and talking to some of the women srsly convinced me to not lie in bed. It's true, I'm not the multi or dramatic orgasm type, but too bad. the guy will just have to want me anyway. In my experience guys actually aren't that picky, they just love sex and her pleasure. Yeah, sex can be social so if you don't lie even other women could think you're weird, but I tell people, that being honest saves me from having bad sex so that's how it's going to be for me.

@LindsayRB91rds no but i know women who want to wait 6 months or some other arbitrary amount of time before they want to have sex, if the boyfriend objects she finds that he does because he doesn't love her enough. Of course they also HAVE to get married within a certain timeframe. If there is no proposal for whatever reason she feels rejected, disrespect and ashamed.
My husband agreed to wait until we were married (although we compromised on being engaged with a date set). Putting schedules on things is just not how normal people operate. I'm sorry for any guy that dealt with a girl like that.

after a while, you started to figure out how women logic works. it's a lot like a trick question.
for example, you get a question on a piece of paper. the question can be very complicated but sometimes it's simple. However, you are almost always wrong qhen you try to answer the question. in fact, all of the answers are wrong including the not answering. then at some point later on, you realized, it's not the question, it's the paper.

There are so many so I think the ones I'm *most* guilty of are these:
- Expecting him to read minds and fulfill my expectations without knowing what they are or that they even exist.
- Being upset/hurt over things that he did for or with his ex. Being upset over things his ex has said (lol) or old chat logs. This is a recent one for me :(
- Telling him to leave me alone and give me space when really I want him to fight for me and say the most romantic thing ever so we can just make up.
- Telling him I'm fine when really I want to talk about what's wrong. "What's wrong?" "Nothing" "You sure?" "I'm fine" "Oh ok, good" "EVERYTHING IS FALLING APART"
That is pretty much every woman. Thats why most of the time, i honestly dont give a fuck when they get mad. its come to the point where they dont even bother with the pretend game with me.

Say "I can't find a nice man" and when they've never (and will never) approach a guy. Follow up with, "if he doesn't approach then he's a loser" and continue never to approach anyone.
Fist say "Don't objectify (they really mean sexualize) us. Objectifying (sexualizing) is oppression." Also call yourself sex-positive. Then sexualise yourself and exercise power over men (showing you're not oppressed) by saying "We're going on sex strike until you respect us (or whatever bullshit they want).
My daughters boyfriend once told her, that if she spent her money on a gym membership then she wouldn't have to buy so much makeup, the poor boy actually thought he was helping with her budgeting skills.

In 2009 my dad and I were going to add a layer of new shingles on to my parents roof. We told my mom that it would make the attic cooler, and therefore save a little money and energy if we put the whitest color shingles on the back of the house (facing the woods to the south) and she could pick the color for the front. Girl complained i never give her gifts to which i replied: " okay, you want gifts ill get you gifts" and she says " i dont want gifts i want you to want to give me gifts"
It's not really about "reading minds" it's about taking your own initiative and doing something sweet just to show you care. She doesn't want to have to tell you how to treat her all the time, she just wants you to do something without having to be asked. Surprise her every so often and she'll love it. Simple really. She's just complaining because she's trying to tell you what she wants/needs to feel appreciated and loved.
@SarahD094 actually it is. Everyone has a love language, a way to give and receive love. I don't feel loved at all when someone buys me a gift - I feel loved when they can set aside some quality time just for me with no distractions. When they do one of my chores so I don't have to. A gift is completely wasted on me and quite honestly makes me uncomfortable as I feel I have to reciprocate. Not everyone feels the way I do, so for me to speak to them in their love language I need to know that it's important to them, or I'm going to give out love the way I feel it's important to receive it. People aren't mind readers - if you need something in a relationship you need to say that and THEN it's up to them to remember and take the initiative
Yeah me too. I don't care for gifts. I just meant that in general this is what girls "want" when they say something along these lines. I was just explaining the likely "reasons" behind this certain situation. People joke all the time about how girls want their guys to be mind readers and know how to treat them. But really the main thing they want isn't exactly the thing they are complaining about, just for the guy to take initiative and "think" instead of having to be told.
For example: He's hardly spent any time with me in the last few weeks. If I can notice that surely he does too? Why doesn't he do something about it? Why doesn't he ask me to spend some time with him instead of me always asking?
That being said, people should really learn to communicate more instead of getting these false expectations in their head and just expecting the guy to know what is wrong.
@SarahD094 no, he can't notice that because he may be busy and it's not as high a priority for him as it is for you - or he would change it or let you know he's trying to. Your example right there is expecting him to know what you want, just as OP's girlfriend finally tells him she wants so he says ok, I'll give it to you for her to throw it back when he says he'll give her what she wants. I get that it's important to feel like you're a priority, but the way people show that can be different. Never ever expect your partner to give you what you want or need if you can't be brace enough to ask for it. If you have to keep asking over and over - that's when it's a problem
I'd love to understand a woman's logic behind "WE go to the room"... girls always go there together. They probably think they may get harrassed on the way, or that the door may not properly close :o Tell me ladies, why? :D

They will have no trouble at all being objective when its divorce time and adding up everything they can take right down to pocket lint, yet do things as you cited you do and the lesbian couple you cited do.

Here's some women's logic I noticed:
We had sex like porn stars before we were married. I did this as a part of getting him to marriy me. Now that we're married, I don't have to do that anymore and I totally expect him to be fine with it, not angry, not divorce me, and not cheat on me while I'm very busy having sex with him like every other month. Also BJs are now only for our anniversary, his birthday and maybe Valentines Day if I feel like it.
