That's super normal I felt the same way when I was your age.
I really never dated anyone in the same school as me (or in school in geneal) or someone that works at the same job...
I like my privacy and when I was 17 I wanted guys that would be in college. They look way more mature and stuff with their own place, a car...
No one what's to be at home with parents and boyfriend Is way better if one of y'all has it's own place, makes things better.
The guys I dated were at least 3-4 years older than me and 23 would be my limit at that age.
But be careful because you might think that the older they guy is the better the relationship would be. Remember there are fuck boys everywhere and the older ones are the worst but if you find the right guy I promise you, you'll have a great time :D

No girl, a lot of women like older men! You're normal! When I was 17 I was crazy about older guys. Boys your age are usually immature and if you're sexually active they have no clue what they're doing. Just be safe!

I'm 33 and not even willing to fake interest in girls over 22. I don't have a problem finding young women interested in me, so no, it's not strange at all.

Just mind your local age of consent. If you're in one of the states that has it at 18 (actually the least common state legal age of consent) don't go getting anyone in trouble.

No , because i always prefered older guys. I've always been mature for my age , and couldn't build a rapport with guys my own age. I found older guys were on the same wave length as myself. Younger guys seemed too immature
