No, it is not uncommon at all - especially for a young lady of your age.

I remember when I used to teach in college in 1988 and, Lord, I could tell some of the women were into me, but I had to keep my shit together and not cross the line of course.

It is not so uncommon. How much older and are you over the age of consent in your locale? I think you should wait till you are 18 at least. At lot of men might be happy to have sex with you now if you are over AoC but they are not going to traipse you around as a girlfriend.

In the Keeper Sleeper Sweeper hierarchy you will be a Sweeper (under the carpet) at 16. Even an 18 yo guy might get jibes.

Yes and I think most women would rather have an older man as long be it’s not drastically older than you like 25 to 30 years older. Woman are probably attracted to older men because they might seem more confident, mature, and seem like a provider and protector that woman like.
