+1 yI actually prefer it if guys showed me there more vulnerable times. Just don't come off awkward about it. It kind of makes it creepy for me I don't know why. But with my previous boyfriend he only showed me his vulnerable times whenever I cried but never opened up to me at all so... guys show your feelings to girls and if they don't accept, they don't deserve you.
When I'm with my bestfriend it's different. I love it whenever he opens up. I feel like if a guy should need/want to express himself, he'd probably do it unknowingly (hiding it with a joke) or with his close friend.00 Reply

+1 yI like it. Being there for someone emotionally is a very important way to facilitate bonding and trust. I don't WANT my SO to be upset, of course. But if he is, I want to have the chance to talk to him about it and comfort him. I want him to feel comfortable sharing his feelings with me and showing me his vulnerable side.

Yes I totally agree.
What Girls Said
I honestly find it to be super attractive! It's kinda an intimate moment when a guy sorta peels away his protective layers for just a second and shows me another side of him. This goes for all people actually. But I always get extremely intrigued and it sorta pulls me into what they have to show me. I also feel extremely honored when someone goes a bit vulnerable for me. It shows the strength of our bond and how important I am to them. And it's just an overall intimate and touching moment for me. Kinda like a really high compliment!
11 ReplyI don't 'don't mind'
I LOVE IT
You know how guys want to be seen as a tough, unbreakable superhumans?
When guys show their vulnerable side, that means they really trust the girl, and trust me, as a girl, it's the best feeling LOL
No matter how many times a guy is being vulnerable, it doesn't matter, as long as it's the guy whom I like or I care about (like close friends) LOL00 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. That wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I would hope that he would be comfortable enough around me to do such things.

Yeah a lot of guys are afraid of coming off as weak as or something. All because of society lol.
- +1 y
I'm not entirely sure, but I think most guys had a situation in life where they came off "weak" or "hopeless" when they're vulnerable. Whether it's in front of their parents, siblings, friends or even girlfriend. Then they learned society expects them to be manly men so we keep our emotions to ourselves.
+1 yI love it. In a relationship, when you show your vulnerability and your partner accepts it, thats where the real intimacy begins. Also, I feel good because I was his shoulder to cry on and I made him feel better.

+1 yOf course. I'm not interested in dating someone emotionless, there's little point in dating if you can't be vulnerable with each other.
01 Reply- +1 y
I agree with that. I wish more women would openly admit it though.
Yes, definitely. It's attractive to me if he's able to express himself. I don't want to date a robot with no feelings.
01 Reply- +1 y
A robot lol. Unfortunately that's what a lot of us guys have been told. Apparently we come off as more manly that way.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI like that a guy can be open and honest. And even show sensitivity. It means there is trust in the relationship and that he is human!

Yeah, this whole guys acting like robots thing isn't cool lol.
Opinion Owner+1 yExactly 😂👍🏻
- +1 y
I mean I don't do it lol but a lot of guys do.
Personally, I love it when guys get all vulnerable and emotional :3 it's so cute
20 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. No I don't. Why would I be happy if he's sad or have problem?
112 Reply- +1 y
Well, I don't mean being happy because he's sad. I mean liking his vulnerability because he's not being overly macho and insensitive.
- +1 y
So what do you like?
- +1 y
I can accept that. Is that what you do?
- +1 y
I can definitely understand how you feel because I hate showing weakness too but I feel it's important to communicate with those you trust and let then know how you feel.
- +1 y
Unsafe how? I mean I can accept that but it shouldn't be looked at as weak. Everyone needs a support system.
- +1 y
You mean like a mugger or burglar or something?
+1 yI think it is good for a man to be vulnerable. It would make me feel special that I could go and make them feel valued and loved.

+1 yTo me, it's much better to be vulnerable than to never open up.

Haha nice. What do you like about it?
- +1 y
Great answer. Being able to trust someone is huge. And trust brings you closer. For everyone I felt a distant connection with its because I couldn't trust them like that.
- +1 y
Yep haha.
- +1 y
Do you usually use the smiley emoji after every comment? Just a little pattern I picked up lol.
- +1 y
most of the time Yes... I am a very positive person and i smile all the time... so when i give answers on here i always finish with a smiley face because its as if i were talking in person and consequently if i were with whoever posts the question id be smiling... im quite an expressive kind of person...😊
- +1 y
That's really cool! So that means if we were talking in person you'd be smiling haha. I try to speak to people on here the same I would reply if if we're talking face to face. It feels more realistic.
- +1 y
Ah cool haha. I would too. And you're welcome.
