Why is this Outgoing Girl shy around me?

There is this girl at work and she is very outgoing and talks to everyone but me. She gets quiet around me even with her friends there. So what's going on? does she hate me or something?

This probably means nothing at all.
Even though some people are outgoing/quite most of the time, that doesn't mean they'll be like that 24/7. Assuming she's within your age bracket.. it's most likely purely coincidental.
(Going quiet around people you have a 'crush' on is what 10 year olds do. If someone who's in their 20's or older does that, I'd be concerned for their mental health.)

Think so? The way she acts around me makes me wonder... Whenever i catch her staring at me she tends to have a blank look on her face. I once held the door for her and she gave me this weird look... i don't even know how to describe it. Then one time we were on the break room together and she looked at me and she raised both of her eyebrows at me and she looked away really fast afterwards and again she didn't smile or anything.

I'm kind of a Lone Wolf so i'm not used to getting this kind of attention...

Well today i caught her looking at me and after i clocked out from my shift i went to go talk to her and she wasn't anywhere to be found. Seems like she is always on break or she has already gone home whenever i attempt to go talk to her.

If she is shy around you, she probably likes you :) I am a very outgoing and social person, but when I am crushing on someone I can become shy and hold back because he makes me nervous. Try talking to her, see if she loosens up :)

I have and my friend says i need to go talk to her. Of course the last few times i've tried to o so she's either gone home or on her lunch break.

Alright so me and this Girl do have some History...

About last July me and this Girl started talking to each other and She started smiling and waving at me and sometimes winking at me whenever she saw me and she even tried getting me a job in the area where she works. There was this one time where she pulled on my Apron and she walked off laughing...
Then in December she was having some trouble with her Ex - Husband and one night me and a friend of mine were having fun and then she turned around and yelled at me and my friend and me and her have not spoken to each other since then... But like i said before i catch her looking at me and she even raised both of her eyebrows at me... but one thing i've noticed since we stopped talking is her attitude hasn't been the same... sometimes she's happy and then sometimes she's angry

Story time !

Last year there was a brief time where me and her did talk... She would say "Hi doll" and things like that whenever i would walk by her. One day she pulled on the back of my shirt when she walked past me and when i turned around she looked at me and she was laughing.

She tried to get me a job in the area where she worked and she started smiling and waving at me every time she saw me and she would come talk to me whenever i was working. Then her ex husband started giving her a hard time and back in December she lashed out at me and we haven't spoke to each other since... But then she started staring at me and looking at me whenever she walked by and that's just how things have been here lately.

My friends say i need to talk to her. I even had strangers at the bar i was at the other day saying that i need to go talk to her...

Haha :P Well.. That makes the situation worse.. How did you respond when she lashed out at you? She is probably very ashamed of what happened, so she doesn't have the guts to talk to you. Maybe she thinks you're angry at her?

I suppose it's possible she thinks that i'm mad at her. I'm not mad at her anymore but i was at one time... I guess i just need to go talk to her when i have the chance

Well, this is so different from what I thought in the beginning.. First of all if you just walked away when she lashed out she probably feels like shit.. I mean, it's totally understandable why you did it, but she probably feels not only that she has been sad and angry but also ashamed of the way she acted towards her.. So there is no wonder why she stays quiet around you, she is so ashamed, she probably thinks you hate her. So in fact, you're the one who "has the ball". You're the one who needs to tell her that you're not mad at her anymore :)

I don't hate her... but for whatever the reason the though of approaching her kinda scares me after what happened back in December. Her mood hasn't been the same since she had problems with her Ex and when me and her stopped talking...

The funny thing is she does have a big heart and a short temper. Everybody there seems to like her and She has this presence that's just amazing... When she looks at me even though she may have a blank look on her face i'm starting to wonder if maybe there's more to it than just that... she has the most beautiful eyes and she's just breathtaking to look at... and when i think about going to talk to her i get excited and then i get this nervous - terrified feeling...

It feels great ! They are going to name her Madison Renee :)
