Girls-I look like Matt Damon, but I can't get a girlfriend, what's the problem?

I would think my looks would help, but even with them I end up being only a friend. Is it because I'm not confident enough?

learn some game and you will in the process learn how to avoid the friend zone (research PUA training or the mystery method). there are specific ways of avoiding the friend zone. obviously confidence and taking care of yourself are the most important. but confidence doesn't seem to be an issue since you are befriending girls. even if you are good looking it won't count for anything if you don't make sure you look nice and are well groomed

Well, in my opinion, Matt Damon is not hot... at all.

But you know, looks can only go so far. If you don't have confidence, people will notice that and look the other way. And if you don't have the personality to back up your looks, that too can contribute to not getting a girlfriend.

Im just scared to get rejected. I'm a grad student in history so I don't meet a ton of women that are good looking since I don't go to the bars alot.
