I have friends who have this problem -- it happens all too often. Sometimes it's because you guys spend too much time together and she's gained a lot of pet peeves. OR something really serious is happening that you just don't know about. I mean, if you've asked whats wrong and she still won't say -- maybe things are just bad at home, in school, whatever. If things persist and you still can't figure her out, consider making one special night where you make her feel really comfortable. Choose the perfect words to ask her how she's been feeling, if everything is okay, and to tell her you care a whole bunch!

What may be small to you, could be huge to her. Example, my boyfriend thinks the nicest thing he's ever done for me is throw me a surprise brithday party but to me the best thing he's ever done is brought me lunch to my work without me asking him. It's little I know but it's the little things that count.
Well the answer to your first question is: WE ARE MORE EMOTIONAL
Second question answer is: she is just angry and just won't say it.
Sorry for the rudeness.

I believe there is a communication barrier between men and women. Studies have shown that women are much better at communicating not just verbally, but physically as well. I think most women expect men to be at their level when they converse; which usually leads to questions like? "is he ignoring me tonight?", "why would he say such a thing?" etc, even though the man did not mean to be 'a jerk'. Most women are used to the conversing with other women, so they expect the same out of men, and usually get upset over a simple miscommunication.
