Why do little girls always stare at me?

Anonymous
I'm asking this anon because I know how people are, y'all will accuse me of being a pedophile.

I work at cash register. Often time parents have their kids buy stuff from me and do the talking to me, I guess to build their confidence, my dad used to do that to me too.

But when young girls, pre teen, do this, they are fucking intense lol. They STARE into my eyes, they are bold as fuck and give no shits! Little boys don't do this. They are shy as fuck like 95% of the time and won't even look at me. I don't know if it's because I'm a pretty large man or what.

So anyways, after experiencing this many times at work I started to pay attention to young girls in public. Yea I know, I sound like a fucking pedo I'm not I promise. I've noticed that young girls are always looking at me. They are bold, they will lock eyes with me, and they are like fucking 8 or something. They'll lock eyes with me and won't turn their gaze away. It's actually a little bit scary lol.

So I'm not a female, I have no idea what this means. What I came up with inside my inferior male brain is that young girls are like, inspecting grown men, trying to get a read on society's men. Do we look after them and protect them? Or are we savages looking to rape them when they are old enough? I'm talking about evolutionarily right now. I don't mean to be unfeeling or anything. I just want to understand what's going on and that's the only way I can wrap my head around it lol.

I have a son, and some nephews. So I'm interested in the psychology of children and how humans grow up and develop into adults. I feel like I'm only going to get negative and angry responses though. I hope y'all get what I'm trying to ask here. I'm not a damn pedophile or a weirdo. I'm just curious. I also have been trying hard to understand women from their own perspective. And this just fits perfectly right in there because young girls turn into women, and this is all a part of that. So please help me understand a little more?
