No. Not at all. Firstly, hair does not grow in the vagina. It grows ON the vulva, and it is actually healthier and cleaner to keep one's pubic hair rather than shave it off.

The trend of everyone shaving their pubic hair off is actually quite recent. It has increased the likelihood of both transmitting and catching every STD besides pubic lice. For women, removing all the pubic hair increases her chances of yeast infections, UTI's and bacterial vaginosis. As it turns out, pubic hair, for men and women, serves a protective health function

All of what I have said is validated by scientific/medical studies. I'll link a few if you need me too.

So, knowing all of the above, do you still think shaving off the pubic hair is "taking care of yourself"? Or do you recognize it a recent fashion trend that no one has to follow if they don't want to?

I don't think it's a necessary thing to do, it has nothing to do with taking care of one self.
And I heard it hurts.. More than waxing arms and legs (not that I know tgat either, never done that either before)

It means she's made the choice not to shave. Sometimes because of ingrown hairs and cysts. Sometimes because she likes some hair. I don't shave either, but I'm always very clean.

Not at all some men prefer a natural bush. Do you know the purpose of pubic hair? It is the same as armpit hair, it is for lubrication.
God designed the human body and man comes along and cuts things off and thinks it is an improvent. Circumcision is a prime example. With less sexual function come less sex.

She likes the bush or she just doesn't want the razor bumps and ingrown hairs that come with shaving. I shave regularly and I exfoliate.

Of course not. Maybe she just doesn't like shaving. Maybe she thinking waxing hurts too much. Could be lots of reasons why a girl has hair, but it's doesn't mean she doesn't take care of herself.

I dont shave that dosent mean i dont take care of myself. Washing is the best way to take care of proper hygiene henceforth i personally dont like a shaved area , neither trimmed
