Girls, do girls often admire guys from afar?

Do girls often look at a guy from a certain distance, just to secretly admire him without catching her? And as soon as he notices that, she does her best to hide it, and when he asks her about that, she feverishly denies it? And maybe even calls him stupid?

I've been checking out this guy for a while but didn't bother doing anything until he started going out of his way to talk to me.

If he asked about my feelings, I certainly wouldn't deny them. Strongly denying feelings is usually something us girls do when we're young, but realize it's pointless.

It depends on the girl. I tend to stare at guys at a distance and don't mind if he catches me doing it. I just smile at him if he does catch me to break the awkwardness haha! Other girls will deny their feelings or that they were staring out of embarrassment and/ or lack of confidence that the guy finds her attractive too.

Oh yeah all the time but not in a Helga Pataki kind of way. If there's a guy that I'm really into, I won't go out of my way to check him out but I can immediately spot him from afar or in a crowd.
