Ex-girlfriend invited me to family party, her parents probably won't like me being there but she says it's fine anyways since they'll be occupied?

Her parents just don't like guys over at their house who aren't boyfriends, which I experienced before we got exclusive lol. I think it's a pretty positive sign that she's inviting me over to her house but I'm not sure what to do?

It all depends on how your relationship is with that person. If you have both moved on and are still friends and this isn't an attempt to make you feel awkward or belittled then I would say go for it. At the same time if you suspect that she is trying to make you jealous, by potentially rubbing another Significant Other/boyfriend in your face or to show off how much happier/successful she is than you, then I would say don't go.

Whatever you choose make it clear what your response is and why. Try to be mature about the situation. Also if attending that party would put you back into a toxic/negative/abusive relationship then STEER CLEAR.

Well we only broke up a couple months ago, and she says she just wants to be friends. However, her actions heavily contradict her words. I'd go into details but it'd be very long so just trust me please lol. We both aren't seeing anyone new (she's the one who brought it up), unless she's lying which I don't think she would do that. I know it'd just be me, her, and maybe her siblings doing our own thing away from everyone else.

Sounds like you're open to getting back together. I guess you need to go and find out what's on her mind, as long as you can deal with her parents.
Maybe she's just trying to find a place for you as a friend.

I am open to it, but I don't want to disrespect her parents if they don't want me at their house haha. I think inviting me to her house like that so soon (we only broke up two months ago, dated for two years) after break up is a little too personal for just a friend right?
