He could if he wanted to but I'm quite small so it probably wouldn't last long. I'd rather give him the seat and then sit on his lap. But only until another seat becomes available.

Because I just don't see an issue with it. I don't think I would ask a guy to sit on my lap, unless I was just joking. But if they really wanted to they can. I don't know about without asking me first though.

Just randomly, like if there is no where else to sit, or just for fun.

I hang out with guys way more than I do with girls due to my hobbies, so I'm not sure if my views are biased on this or not.
I don't mind because personally I see nothing wrong with it. If there's no chairs and they need to sit somewhere I'd prefer them sit on my lap over me sitting on theirs. If they sit on eachother they think wrong of that. I believe it's because I am not a guy and therefore it's not weird for them. They have asked me before if they may, sometimes if they're good friends they just sit on my lap unannounced, sometimes they do it to bother me.
Example, my brother, if I'm playing games on the TV, he sits on my lap and crushes me to bother me and steal the controller. More of a sibling play.
I can handle anyone's weight, by physical means, I'm very strong. So it's normal for me.
