Why girls hate each other, like acting good in person and talking bad behind their back, and also some girls prefer guy as a friend more than girl as a friend why?

Apart of female development through the millions of years is that we are not made to get along because you can’t have two females in the one place otherwise the males can’t choose, so we get along but there’s that on thing that makes us do that (I’m friends will mostly guys it’s great)

Jealousy? Or some kind of envious behaviour towards each other but only behind the back... you can also have never talked or see some popular girl but you hate her because of "why does she needs to be so popular, what the hell they find in her" etc...
