Women generally have weaker muscles above the waistline. A sufficient difference in stature between a man and a woman may cause the woman to be stronger than a man. Muscle, however, does not always show. As someone who did martial arts for a few years I can say that a seemingly weak, seventy year old instructor can be much stronger than a thirty year old one with well defined muscles. However, there is more to a fight than mere strength. If either has any sort of experience on fights, be it martial arts training or pub brawls, that person holds a distinct advantage. It is definitely possible for women to beat up men.

Fighting takes tremendous conditioning to do for more than 20 seconds. While it’s possible to carry a lot of fat and be really fit it’s very very rare.

Looking at the pictures, the guy would win easily. That woman has little to no muscle, and is clearly unfit; and fat isn't especially effective at protecting someone from blows. Whereas the guy, while not 'buff', is still clearly lean, fit and well-toned. That's not the build of a bodybuilder; that's the build of a fighter or an athlete. That fight'd be over before it began.

How's she going to do that? His legs and far thicker and more muscular than hers, and she's far more top-heavy and slanted; look at her in that picture. She's leaning over 10 degrees to the right, struggling to keep her balance and rendered incapable of standing up straight without falling over, just from the miniscule effort of carrying that tiny handbag in her left hand. She couldn't even do a push-up, let alone push a grown man, pick him up over her shoulder and throw him to the ground. And given that the weight of her own handbag's visibly pushed her off-balance in that picture, even a little boy would be able to, let alone a grown man.

Well, you're clearly not a fighter. I am. And it's obvious to me just from looking at her, in a split second, that she's weak, soft, feeble- easy prey. She can't even lift her own handbag without being knocked off balance and uncentered by its weight. And her stance is terrible. One kick, one punch, one shove, and she'd topple over onto her fat ass like a nine-pin. If you wanted a 'taller, bigger woman', you really should've picked another example, because she really isn't the sort of women who could overpower and beat a man in any circumstances, let alone do so 'easily'. Depends who is more willing to maim or kill. Yes the woman may have an advantage in size and weight, but say if you target her head, kidneys or knees, it could cripple her effectively. Frankly there are so many variables you'd have to consider.

Depends on how determined the attacker is, and what sort of experience the skinny guy is. In my experience, women hitting men tend to do so believing the man won't fight back, and the situation is immediately over the second he throws a punch.
