Depends on the woman. Some women gauge how much a man cares about her by how much he’ll spend on her. Personally, I don’t prefer to always have him spending money on me and I never ask him for gifts and things like that. On dates, I always offer to pay for my portion.
However, my man shows his affection partially by doing this. He enjoys it and is always asking if I want him to buy me something and telling me he wants to treat me. It’s more something he enjoys than something I enjoy. I just don’t let him spend too much or buy petty things haha. i think anyone can appreciate when someone buys them something. It's a gift and/or a love language. I like feeling like i am worth spending money on, and while i do not demand it by any means, i would break up with someone who refuses to reciprocate "treating" me as i would him. I like to treat my man, maybe with stereotypical necessities like household items, functional decor, homemade foods, and maybe its not that romantic but it does improve his standard of living. I can't be with someone who takes that for granted, and refuses to initiate the same kindness.

I'm not sure if I understood the answers right but women tend to love that a guy *wants* to spend his money on them, but don't want like to take advantage of that. Some girls will demand that the guy pay for all dates but I think that's just ridiculous and selfish. First date if he wants to but that's it. People have enough money troubles these days without having to add a $30 fish salad on top.

I get really stressed when guys try and spend money on me, even if it's a treat. I don't know why but I've got it in my head that they're trying to buy me. I know that's not the case and I enjoy saving and spending my own hard earned money on myself (or friends).

Nope. The absolute majority of women don't like "using" men and even feel bad about it seeming that way. Go on a date in real life and you'll realize this.

HOWEVER in many cases a woman does inadvertently use a man - a good example is the legal system favouring women a lot.

The whole idea of women being evil comes from groups like MGTOW who almost exclusively target women when the bigger culprit is a legal system that actually fosters behaviour that naturally tends towards men being used. And it's very unfortunate.
