What does it mean if a girl I barely know hug me instead of saying by?

There is this girl we are doing the same sport but never spoke until Sunday where after a race we spoke a half hour. She said a few times that I am very muscular and stared constantly at me.
At Thursday we had an other race where we spent the most of the day together with her boyfriend and I know him for 2 years.
He cared a more with me than with her boyfriend and when the race ended she hugged me.
Can it mean something or girls you hug someone after as short time?

Usually a girl who hugs someone means they are comfortable with them and appreciate the time they spend with them as well! It's certainly a good sign for a healthy friendship between you two if she can press her body on yours without any signs of discomfort! Good friends usually do this when they either have an emotional moment or to signify their farewell to make it more personal then a simple hand wave goodbye.

It doesn't mean anything as long as a girl does say, that you are her crush. Girls allways hug people :)
